Britain's Got Talent VS America's Got Talent

David and Dania on America's Got Talent:
They're a magic act that does amazingly quick changes. While you watch this video, be prepared to go, "What the...how did they do that!" because of the amazement it will most likely cause.

Austin on Britain's Got Talent:
He plays a musical saw!!! Unbelievable right? I've never seen someone do that before! That is, until I came across this video...

Terry on America's Got Talent:
He's a ventriloquist/impressionist and man is he good! I reckon he deserved to win America's Got Talent judging by these videos!

Video 1 = His audition (song: At Last [I think])

Video 2 = Later stages (song: What A Wonderful World)

Connie on Britain's Got Talent:
She's a 6 year old singer. And not just another singer either. Described by Simon Cowell to have "perfect pitch", you'll soon realise why this video has racked up an amazing 18.5 million views! I'm referring to her singing, and not the other parts that was part of the video. Once you've heard her sing, you can stop because the rest of the video isn't worth watching.

We stole two more FGA/YC - ians!

If you use Facebook, go add the application "Who has the biggest brain?" and start playing! See whether you can get a higher score than me!

Now, to the main topic. Yes, we did indeed steal two more FGA(Full Gospel Assembly)/YC(Youth Church) - ians! They are...*drum roll* as you should already know if you go FGA KL's YC, Judah, and Xiao Wen! They've migrated over to Adelaide, Australia. At first I didn't know, I thought they were just coming over for a holiday, but then I later found out that they were here to live! Soon, we'll be able to start a Full Gospel Assembly Adelaide!

This quote by Terry from YC explains it all: "and i wish Adelaide will stop taking away all the people that i love......."

It's confirmed that we'll be celebrating Christmas in Malaysia, yo! How awesome is that! More information in the next post! Hahaha, sorry, but I really have to do my work, and revise for this major (at least I think it is) Science test tomorrow.

So yes, the past week was my first week back at school. During the 2 week holiday, all I really did, was spend time at/with the Rajs. Out of the 7 weekdays possible, I spent 5 of them at/with the Rajs. The only weekday of the holiday I didn't, was the Monday. I hadn't asked on Sunday whether I could stayover, which was why I stayed at home on Monday. Ryan spent 2 days at my house (First, on the last day of the first week - Sunday, and second, on the Monday - the first day of the second week). Now, that, was basically all I did during the 2 week holiday.

It was very fun though. Ooh, Ryan and I cooked dinner for his family on the last night I was staying over. Fun, but wasn't all that professional - when we started eating dinner, the cheese that we put on and with the baked potatoes, was hard, meaning it was cold. The bacon (single-handedly cooked by me because Ryan was scared of the oil, which he put too much of, splattering) was the only thing that was as they say it, "fresh out of the kitchen". Luckily, the chicken was still relatively warm.

Nights were mainly spent watching the IPL - the Indian Premier League, which was mst often on after 12 AM, due to the time difference between Adelaide and India. Due to the late time they showed the IPL, we were lacking in energy every minute. So, we couldn't help ourselves but attempt to take something like a 10 second nap when the advertisment came on between overs.

The first night that we watched the IPL and attempted to do that, we dozed off completely and left the television on. It was up to Sheena to turn off the television before she went to Paradise Child Care Centre, at 7 AM! It unfortunately did happen to us again, but luckily Ryan woke up, saw it on, turned it off, then went back to bed. We didn't tell Uncle Mike about that incident. Pray that he doesn't read my blog!

Alright, that's all I'll blog about my holidays.

I really want a job! No, correction, I really need a job! If I'm going to go back to Malaysia, rich, and being able to spenknow that I'm spending my own hard earned cash, and that its mine, I need a job ASAP!

Hey, although Gordon Ramsay swears quite a lot in his shows, they're fun to watch. Hell's Kitchen definitely has less coarse language than Kitchen Nightmares, but they're both interesting to watch.

For Hell's Kitchen, the contest between two teams makes it interesting, although I only really want to watch the final episodes/the final because they are much, Much, MUCH better then. I'm not saying only the final episodes/the final is interesting, but we've only got 29GB of bandwidth each month, and if I watch all the episodes, it'll take quite a lot of it. Oh, by the way, Hell's Kitchen is a Survivor-like show, where contestants who want to own their own restaurant and become head chef in it, compete to win that position. In Survivor, contestants compete to win $1,000,000 US DOLLARS. There are challenges which rewards the contestant/team that wins it in both Hell's Kitchen and Survivor. See the similarities?

In Kitchen Nightmares, he takes one restaurant each episode under his wing, and turns them around, from LOSING thousands each day/week, to MAKING thousands each day/week. I reckon there is more coarse language in this show, because of the fact he has only a week to turn them around and has to act fast, thus being under more pressure. Plus, in Hell's Kitchen, the weakest during the week (probably meaning the person he swore most at during the week) gets eliminated by him. That would mean a cut down in the coarse language, especially because the numbers get smaller.

Now to Kitchen Nightmares, its a whole restaurant full of staff EVERY episode, and so the coarse language is more consistent. Also, you have to consider the fact that in Hell's Kitchen, he only teaches them how to cook. There's the contrast, because he has to change the whole restaurant - meaning things like how to manage the restaurant properly, how to cook nicer(and simpler most times) food properly, how to save money (buying cheaper but same/better quality ingredients), how to price food properly so people will not think the place is only for one-off occasion, etcetera.

Question I'm asking now on my Facebook profile: "Would you hug someone that you have never/don't normally hug, WILLINGLY? What if him/her stretched out their arms when saying bye? Would you still do it by will? Will you consider the fact that this person could have feelings for you in your decision?"

You can answer in the comments page or in the chatterbox if you want! So far, no one has answered on Facebook.

Take care!
