9 PM, Adelaide, Australia, March 29, 2008: Earth Hour 2008, is over. if you didn't turn off your lights, don't worry, you're in the same position as my family. Unless you don't have any reason why you didn't turn off your lights that is, which I do. Anyway, if you didn't, there's always Earth Hour 2009! Not to worry guys! Although, for a chance at redemption, you have to wait for as the title says, 364 days and 23 hours more! That's when Earth Hour 2009 arrives. Then, please, for the sake of the Earth, turn off your lights!

Earth Hour 2008!
8 PM, Adelaide, Australia, March 29th, 2008: Earth Hour 2008. Turn off your lights for 1 hour from 8PM - 9PM! Take action against Global Warming, now! Cmon guys! Go, go, go! Switch off your lights! Take a stand against Global Warming!
PS: You don't have to, it's not compulsory. Even my house's lights are on. It's all because we've got visitors. Would it be nice for them to come over, and then turn off all the lights, eating in the dark? I don't think so right? If there were candles, maybe. I can't find any candles though, and my parents can't be bothered about turning off the lights for 1 hour for Earth Hour 2008. Anyway, when 8PM on March 29, 2008 comes wherever you are reading this now, turn off your lights!

!Hero and Easter

It was here! !Hero the Rock Opera was here! Except it wasn't with the original cast from America of course. Anyway, it was the Australian premiere of !Hero the Rock Opera and it was on at church, with all the cast being from church too. So, by now you're probably wondering what !Hero the Rock Opera is all about right?
Well, !Hero is a rock opera about Jesus. It is based on the question, "What if Jesus was born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania?". (Taken from Wikipedia)
Yes, it is a rock opera about Jesus, don't say Wikipedia is wrong about this one because it isn't. It's basically a modernised story about Jesus' lasts two years (Wikipedia say it's about Jesus' last two years at least). You know what? I think I'll just let you go watch yourself. You'll have to watch the American version of !Hero though if you want to watch it. There are some differences (Australia's Hero skin colour is white and America's Hero skin colour is black.) but they don't matter right? Why should they?
And by the way, Hero is Jesus, Petrov is Peter, and Maggie is Mary Magdalene. The rest, you have to figure out yourself. Below are two videos, which you can watch first before deciding whether to watch from the beginning. In the first video, the song's called Hero - put it on my blog because it's similar to the title so it has to be an important song. It's called attracting attention. Second one, most people say that's the best song. And I like it too, gah, I just felt like showing those two songs, so yeah. Best reason.

Now then, on to Easter. You know, it's so surprising that so many people who claim to be Christians don't know what Easter really means. Is it about the Easter eggs? The Easter bunny? Is it when parents go hiding eggs and their small children (if they are still small, or if they do have any at all) go look around the house to find them (Heard Australian parents do that on Easter from Mum.)?
If you answered "Yes" to any of the questions above, you are on the wrong track. WAKE UP! It's not about that! It's about celebrating the fact that Jesus rose again on the third day after getting crucified, after dying on the cross. You see, God gave his one and only son Jesus to US, for what? To save US from OUR sins, OUR wrongdoing. NOT HIS.
When Jesus did that, we were forgiven of ALL OUR SINS. It's not like He died because He did something bad. No, when Jesus was arrested, He was arrested for no reason at all. He wasn't arrested because He stole something, not because He committed a crime, not anything like that at all. No one could think of a legitimate reason to commit Him of. Why, you ask? It's so simple. Jesus is clean. He has no sin, no wrongdoing in him.
John 3:16 = For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only son so that whosoever believed in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

A house and a short update
Wondering why there haven't been any updates for quite a while now? Well, wonder no more! Okay, so some of you might know, we moved houses, we're still in Rostrevor, but when no one can send me to school, I can't walk anymore. Have to take the bus. So yeah anyway, got my own room now, pretty happy. Hey, it's my first room k, I have the right to feel happy about it! If you read the title, this is going to be a short update, so yeah this is it. Gotta go do work now, due tomorrow.
